[AIT09] RTO

This question is from Shujaat.

1. What is the main difference between Bounded and unbounded RTO?
2. Which one does TCP use? Why does it choose that choice?

1) An actual value of RTO must be bounded by a minimum and a maximum value, where as in unbounded RTO the values are not bound for minimum and maximum values.
2)TCP uses the unbounded RTO for the purpose of computing the RRT estimation
